OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: GIRLS TO TEE
Contemporary Photography Exhibition: Girls to Tee
Örebro, Sweden | June 2026
Hosted at Kårsta GK
Girls to Tee, a project with the goal to create visibility for contemporary photography and women’s golf, invites photographers and visual artists to submit their work for a group exhibition in Örebro this summer.
Exhibition Concept
The idea for Girls to Tee was born from a passion for golf and photography.
For many women, the golf course can be a place of isolation with lack of social connections, which often leads to the loss of motivation to stay in the game. Girls to Tee aims therefore to create a space defined by a sense of belonging.
Just as photography often begins as a solitary act but flourishes through collaboration and shared vision, we believe golf requires a collective community to thrive. Through this exhibition, we aim to both create a space that can inspire women of all ages to discover, return to and remain in the game, and to promote local as well as international artists.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome photographic works that engage with the diverse facets of women’s golf. We are interested in various artistic approaches, from local perspectives to international talents:
Sports & Documentary: Capturing the raw energy, focus, and reality of the game.
Fashion & Portraiture: Exploring identity, style, and the female presence in the sporting landscape.
Still Life & Landscape: Abstract or conceptual reflections on the tools, textures, and environments of the sport.
Please note: Submissions must be original photographic works. Works generated purely through AI will not be accepted.
Context & Location
The exhibition will open in late June 2026 at Kårsta GK in Örebro, Sweden. By bringing contemporary art directly to the course, we aim to promote female golf while elevating photography as a fine art form.

We invite photographers and artists of all genders, ages, and career stages to submit their work. We are looking for voices that bring depth, sincerity, or a fresh perspective to the representation of women in sports and art.
